I have been collecting musical boxes, figurines and treasures for 8 years.I have 63 in the collection, plus my 5 year old granddaughter has 10 in hers. Many of my musicals are Enesco. I have the "Ferris Wheel", which is fully animated,lights up, as well as run on a cassette that provides the music. The "Madame Harp Player" has the tune of "Fascination". "Clockpost Willie" whistles "It is 3 O'Clock in the Morning". The Cotillion Ball" which has the melody "The Emperor's Waltz"....I have tried to collect many different styles and tunes that capitvate one's fancy of these treasures. Many are battery operated,wind up as well as electrical. Some of the musicals have motion or light or both. Oddly enough our home has some sort of music in every room.

Recently after being ill for quite sometime, I was diagnosed with MS. I do not choose to live with MS but rather MS lives with me. I refuse to give it much time and space to live in my life. Last year was the worst time I have spent in my entire life. I could barely walk last September of 1998 and was drastically fatigued. I was losing hope and feeling totally helpless. My spirit was broken! I remember that Monday last September so well, I was at my lowest. I called Physio, the Chiropractor and the MS specialist to finally relent and take the MS medication.I was not happy with this decision but this was not quality of life the way I was feeling. Then something inside of me said to call the Holistic Centre in a nearby city. I asked if they had a Reiki Master. Indeed they did! A few hours later Ellen Sutherland, a Reiki Master, called and I was on her Reiki bed in less than 24 hours. When I had arrived to see her, I had terrible fatigue...face, neck, back,head, and severe leg pain.After I had spent about an hour or so with Ellen and her Reiki techniques, I was able to walk freely with just a little residue pain left in the calf of my leg.Recently after being ill for quite sometime, I was diagnosed with MS. feeling the best I have ever felt in my whole life. I would like to thank a dear friend, Edith, who is 82 years young, who
suggested that I should go to Reiki. I had never heard the word Reiki before she mentioned it.Needless to say I did not go on
medication. I am so thankful to be feeling so great mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.. I have learned to find the
beauty in everything. I appreciate every waking moment and every new day gives me the chance to collect more beautiful God
given memories. Ellen is my Reiki Master and I am now her student. I have just finished my 1st Degree Reiki and hope to get
my 2nd Degree Reiki by early summer. In addition to Reiki, I have been a hairdresser and esthetician since 1970, so Reiki is a
great addition to this. I am self-employed and love my work with great passion
